When asked, "How did you like coding with OzoBot?",. 10 year old Chaz replied, "OzoBot is Great!"
Lines & Code
On Saturday, April 29th attendees of "Learn Coding with Robots" learned how to control OzoBot with colored lines and Ozocodes. The tornado Ozocode seemed to be the most popular code used. This code makes the OzoBot spin while moving forward. Other popular Ozocodes were turbo and zigzag.
In addition to Ozocodes, attendees also learned how to control OzoBot with drag and drop blocky code called OzoBlockly. OzoBlockly can be created at http://OzoBlockly.com and http://games.ozoblockly.com. ...and theIr off!
The workshop concluded with a race off between two Ozobots!
The race maps we used allowed the OzoBot to choose randomly selected paths so the outcome was anyone's guess! Everyone paired up with one or two others and had tons of fun! Photos and VidEos

![]() Over 50 RVC Students and folks from the community showed up to the "Getting Started with 3D Printing" event. Russ Dulaney, from Dulaney Drafting & Design, shared his thoughts on what type of 3D printers to buy, how they print and gave multiple examples of 3D printed objects which he passed around the audience. 3D printing is used in healthcare to print prosthetic limbs. In addition, attendees learn that 3D printing is also used to print houses, cars, jewelry and around the house items that are broken can be scanned and printed with a 3D printer. Finally, door prizes were raffled off and Russ gave away a $400 valued 3D printed Star Wars character named "Zuckuss". We look forward to Russ coming back next Spring!
